Many faces of Charlotte

Being that this is my first blog, EVER, and I wasn’t prepared to blog while simply setting up my page, I thought I’d pose this first blog as more of a question to each of you.  As those of us that live here know, Charlotte has many faces (we may call them areas, neighborhoods, etc.), so many that I know I am still learning and discovering them.  So here is my question: What is your favorite “face” or area of Charlotte and why?  Are you an Uptown Girl/Guy, Southend, South Park, NoDa, Ballantyne, Metro, Elizabeth, Lake Norman area, University?  Which one, two or three areas speak to you and why are they so special.  I will share that I have spent most of my time between Ballantyne, South Park, Uptown and University; they all have their unique draw to them.  Do you have a hidden Gem that you’d like to share?
